If you haven’t seen the new commercial for Huggies’ brand new Jean diapers , I’m sad for you… and I’m fixing the problem right now! Can’t you just picture the marketing team from Huggies sitting around a table discussing slogans….?  “Huggies New Jean Diapers…. the coolest you’ll look pooping your pants!!”

This commercial is certifiably genius for a few of reasons: 1. It’s openly ridiculous and adorable; 2. If I told you it was just a joke ad from SNL, you would totally believe me… but these things are 100% legit and for real, on shelves, selling;  and 3. I pretty much love anything where they give babies or small children a voice-over inner monologue with a satirical sense of humor.

I’m completely serious when I say I think this may start a number of significant fashion trends.  Don’t be surprised if parents start dressing their babies and toddlers in tuxedo footsie-pajamas, or maybe Huggies begins selling their baby wipes with Wall Street Journal newspaper print on them.  Conversely, I wouldn’t mind wiping my little penguin behind with something resembling an infants onesie.
